Boggle Hole, Hole No 18, Par 4 |
YardageWhite - 374 / Yellow - 370 / Red - 250 Local KnowledgeA fitting finish, in front of the clubhouse. Its the hole that visitors always remember because of the two ravines which have to be negotiated with the second shot, to reach the plateau green. From the drive you have out of bounds to the right with the greenkeeping shed, car park and practice areas, with the dry duck pond also to the right, a decent drive to the top of the hill will result in the ball rolling to the flat fairway at the bottom, anything to the right is blocked by the clubhouse. With your tee shot in the right position, you have a eight/nine iron of about 145 yards over the two ravines. This hole is particularly unpopular with lady members, who hate those ravines, but overall its tricky and fun.
